Delicious, home made food awaits you at Kingsley Café. We believe in hearty portions, local Cornish ingredients and honest prices. But we would like you to put us to the test. Join us upstairs at Kingsley Village on the A30 near Fraddon. And whether you're heading into Cornwall at the beginning of a family adventure or looking for a local lunchtime retreat, we'll look forward to seeing you, soon.

Lovely stuff

Some things are worth a little extra effort. People love good food. And that's why we feed our customers like we'd feed our families. That means we make our meals from scratch, using fresh local ingredients, where possible and supporting local producers who share our enthusiasm for good, honest food.

Proper Coffee Proper Coffee

Fresh Ethiopian and Indian coffee beans combine to give a rich smooth taste…

Hand made bread Hand made bread

Three hours of love and care go into every loaf. We make it by hand…

Goan curry Goan curry

Made from scratch in our kitchen, you could say it’s more Cornish than Goan…

LOVE LOVE LOVE the carvery! – 4 out of 5 stars
Excellent carvery on Sundays, it’s such a shame that the actual hall is loud and echoey.
It’s always extremely busy, I would advise booking a table.

    A surprise find – 5 out 5 stars
Came across this by chance rather than the obligatory McDonalds and am so glad I did! You wouldn’t even know it’s there! Beautifully clean restaurant / cafe, locally sourced delicious food plus very friendly waitresses – just lovely. We had breakfast here on April 10th at about 10am on our way to the Eden Project (they apparently do a marvellous carvery at Kingsley Cafe too so we will catch this on the way back another time). We ordered two full breakfasts plus two extra rounds of toast, a pot of tea, two orange juices and two ribenas (cartons) to take away and the bill came to just under £25 for the four of us (two adults / two kids). The two full breakfasts were large enough to share between us so be sure to ask for extra side plates rather than extra breakfasts for kids (unless you are really hungry) ;-) All I would say is that there is quite a lot of meat but this suited us perfectly :-) There are water jugs on hand and all extras (sauces, sugars, etc etc) and it really is well laid out and perfect for little people :-)

Quick breaky on the go – 5 out of 5 stars
With an hour or so to spare before next port of call, popped into the cafe and ordered a Kingsley Big Breakfast…was not let down, arrived on a hot plate and all the ingredients where cooked to perfection.

Kingsley Café is on the upper floor of Kingsley Village Shopping Village on the A30 in Cornwall. Our chef Henk Ferreira has spent over 17 years cooking in Cornish restaurants and he believes in making lovely homemade food. Henk and the team create dishes that bring freshly prepared ingredients to Kingsley Café’s customers without silly prices. We bake our own bread, make our own very nice chips and prepare our famous Kingsley honey and mustard glazed ham ourselves.

Call us to find out what today’s specials are, we’d love to hear from you.
